Documentary, Crime / TV-Series (2020)
For five years, between 1975 to 1980, the Yorkshire Ripper murders cast a dark shadow over the lives of women in the North of England. He killed 13 women in total: Wilma McCann, Emily Jackson, Irene Richardson, Patricia Atkinson, Jayne MacDonald, Jean Jordan, Yvonne Pearson, Helen Rytka, Vera Millward, Josephine Whitaker, Barbara Leach, Marguerite Walls and Jacqueline Hill.
The documentary promises to be a careful examination of the impact on his victims, and how this affected the country at the time and how people reacted to the horrific crimes. Investigators and witnesses recall how a modern-day Jack the Ripper terrorized the north of England during the late 1970s.
